School Description

140 Years
of Premium British Education

Belvedere School in the UK was founded in 1880 as Liverpool High School, by the then Girls’ Public Day School Company (which became the Girls’ Day School Trust). The name was changed to The Belvedere School in 1911.

We are proud of our strong links with our sister school, Belvedere, a leading independent Preparatory School in England and we share in their tradition of excellence and the core values that they embody. We are fortunate to have been able to draw on their educational expertise and utilise these in our school, incorporating the very best of British independent education.

The diversity of the activities on offer cater for all students from Year 1 to Year 9 and range from academic assistance in Arabic, Mathematics and English to Fitness and Let’s Get Active to Minecraft and LEGO Design.

These activities or ECAs are usually held after school, these are conducted by the teaching staff. We encourage all of our students to participate in whatever activity they wish to and for them to fully enjoy the fun on offer after school at Belvedere.
