Ibn Khaldoun (784 - 808 AD) (1332 - 1406 AD)

Ibn Khaldoun was born in Tunisia and his ancestors migrated to Andalusia ( Spain)and died in Egypt . He was known as the founder of the science of architecture and laid the foundations of the science of history. He left behind a number of the most famous works like ( The Preface of Ibn Khaldoun ) which was issued in 1377 as a preface to the great author..

(The Book of Lessons) and the Diwan of Al.Mubtadaa and Alkhabar ) and has also Sharh Alburda which was in praise of the Prophet Mohammed , peace be upon him) and a book in the Accountancy, and A Message in Logic

The procession of  Ibn Khaldun School began  in September 1996 on the land of the Emirate of Sharjah, which has been distinguished as a beacon of science and culture. Since its start; Ibn Khaldun School has continued to grow , flourish and to become one of the leading educational figures in the UAE..

It was established in 2003 and started in the academic year 2003/2004 in Al Ain-Al-Yahar area. It included the sixth grade classes and continued to grow until the academic year 2009/2010 when it had  a large number of male and female students starting from kindergarten until the 12th grade .The school now involves grades from kindergarten to high school of female and male..


Based on the identity and pride of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the Ibn Khaldoun Islamic School has acquired its authentic Arab identity. It also stems from aspirations and deep faith in the Arab community of unity, which the school has instilled in its children generation after generation and urges the right Islamic commitment to all age groups.
