School Description

Set in the heart of Emaar’s Greens Community, Regent International School (RIS), one of the most innovative private schools in Dubai, offers boundless opportunities for children to discover and harness their potential to the fullest and develop life skills through academic rigour, imaginative co-curricular activities and a range of cultural, spiritual and sporting events.

As a future-focused international school in Dubai, we believe that education is not only about acquiring knowledge and qualifications but also progressing with a spirit of curiosity and intellectual enquiry in a caring, stimulating and supportive environment.

Following the National Curriculum of England, Regent offers a broad and balanced curriculum culminating in the GCSEs in Year 10 and 11, and A Levels in Year 12 and 13. Our commitment to excellence, state-of-the-art infrastructure and quality education have led Regent to being recognised as top KHDA-rated school in Dubai with a “Very Good” rating as well as rating of “Outstanding” by the British School Overseas Inspection authority.

Above all, Regent is a global leader in Positive Education (PosEd), a concept that lays emphasis on strong, value-based education and character development along with academic and personal accomplishments.

Built on the foundation of Fortes Education’s rich history since 1981, Regent has established itself as one of the best British schools in Dubai, where students are prepared to lead a fulfilling, vibrant life at university and beyond.

Extra Curricular Activities

Our ASAs are known for their structured and varied programmes onsite or off-site throughout the year that are run by qualified Instructors. Basketball, Ballet, Gymnastics, Football, Martial Arts, Tennis and Swimming are all conducted in secure and safe environments, under adult supervision. These programmes are independent and separate from the school’s curriculum and the school’s extra-curricular activities (“ECAs”) programme which the school runs during school hours in the school’s academic year. The ASA programmes are governed by the 3rd Party service provider’s rules, regulations and policies. The school is not responsible, directly or indirectly, for these programmes run by 3rd Party Service Providers on its premises. Parents and the ASA 3rd party provider assume their own liabilities when dealing with each other.

ASAs run from 4:00pm onward daily throughout the school year and are open to Regent, non-Regent students and adults. The fees for these programmes are charged by the 3rd party operators and are separate from the school’s Tuition Fee. 3rd Party Specialist Service Providers or adult specialists interested in leasing the school’s sporting facilities or signing up to provide ASAs after school hours, can do so by contacting, Ms. Elaine Baillie, ECA & ASA Manager, +971 4 360 8830, Ext. 101 or drop her an email at
