School Description

A uniquely British school, bringing all the excellence of a British academic education while being firmly part of the Abu Dhabi community and the UAE.

We are very proud of the heritage of The British School Al Khubairat. The School has been at the heart of the community in Abu Dhabi since it was founded in 1968 and built on land generously donated by the founding president of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The School is registered by way of His Highness' Amiri Decree number 5 of 1971, with its management vested in the Board of Governors.

The School has been sponsored since 1980 by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The President of the UAE.

The British School Al Khubairat was founded in 1968 and like Abu Dhabi and the UAE guided by the vision of the late President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and supported through the donation of land and Amiri Decree No. 5 of 1971.  A champion of and generously supported by The School is under the ongoing patronage of the British Ambassador and is sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the current President of the United Arab Emirates.
